LASERS & CUTTING

Moto Group’s multiple laser cutting machines can produce extremely accurate and complex laser cut geometry on flat sheet, diamond plate, perforated sheet, round, square, rectangular, angle iron, channel, oval, and custom tubular materials.

Our tube laser cutting system empowers customers with the vision to craft pioneering tubular product designs, allowing the ability for intricate end forms and hole geometries that are economically unattainable through alternative processes. The ability to generate intricate, precise features within a single machine helps minimize the need for additional post-processing steps and ensures a precise fit for welded and assembled components. Our tube laser allows any cut-feature or geometry on tubes, including fish mouth, profile, copes, holes, and slots.

Our laser cutting systems allow us to perform high-speed cutting without additional requirement for hard tools.

The Moto Group tube laser cutting technique eliminates the need for saws, drills, nibblers, milling machines, and hand-held plasma torches, by combining these various processes in a single operation.

Equipped with a 28’ loader, we can maximize parts per tube to achieve cost-effective solutions. A 14’ unloader allows us to support our customers who require precise lengthy parts. Materials we can cut include stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and mild steel.

Our flatbed laser cutting systems opens up the 2D world of possibilities, while providing the opportunity to create flat patterns for further metal fabrication processes. Our 2D flying optics laser-cutting system utilizes an innovative control and drive package to deliver high performance for fabrication job shops and production environments.

Equipped with one of the largest beds on the market at 6.5’ and 13’.

A 2-pallet changer design with a helical rack and pinion positioning system that features high through-put and rugged construction delivers a combination of performance and value. Our tube laser is equipped with sensors in the Multi-Control Torch that monitor piercing and cutting operations to improve throughput and part quality. If an anomaly is detected, the operation is adjusted or paused to automatically achieve effective cutting conditions.

Tabletop laser engraver

Our tabletop laser engraver provides an open interior for larger components in a benchtop system. It has MOPA fiber laser technology that marks all metals, most plastics, carbide, anodized aluminum, painted or coated materials, and more. MOPA fiber lasers enhance the marking capabilities over basic q-switched fiber laser systems. Selectable pulse durations allow for the processing of a wider variety of materials and substrates. In addition, our laser engraver is equipped with power focal height adjustment and auto-mode for high-volume applications. A service override key and safety warning light allow for open-door Class 4 marking capability for extra-large components. Our laser engraver is equipped with a robust rotary ideal for 360° radial laser marking.

CNC Plasma Table

Our CNC plasma machine is available to provide high precision and repeatability at a lower cost. This machine is perfect for one-off or low-production parts of conductive materials.

Amada Saw

Moto Group owns and operates an automatic scissor-style bandsaw. It features a “C” section style frame that carries the mountings for the two-band wheels, heavy-duty worm gear drive reducer, blade drive motor, and saw guide arm mounting supports. The result is an extremely rigid structure that delivers efficiency, economy, and large capacity cutting for all types of metals. The saw is equipped with a 20’ roller table for all day hands free continuous automation.
